HOW TO USE SELF-STUDY LESSON PLANSLearners using self-study lesson plans - download and print the lesson plan and download any audio listening files with the plan. Get a dictionary and any electronic translation device you normally use to study with. Take your time doing the exercises from start to finish. It should take anywhere from one to three hours depending upon how you pace yourself. But don't worry if it takes you two days to get comfortable with the language in the lesson. Then, once you are ready to do some real practice, go onto your favourite language exchange website such as www.italki.com, www.mylanguageexchange.com, www.myngle.com or www.babbel.com and have your questions ready to ask or use Skype forums to find people to set up free language exchanges with. Call one of your usual exchange partners and ask them the questions and have a nice, structured, and focused real English practice session. Record the session to listen to yourself and your partner again, it will help.
